- Start your day off by eating a healthy breakfast.
- Drink plenty of water, at least two litres a day. Carry a water bottle with you at all times so you can do this.
- Eat little, often and slowly – this is scientifically proven to help your metabolism.
- Make going to the gym part of your routine.
- Train with a partner – it is always easier and more fun to workout with a friend
- Altering your training routine every 4-6 weeks is essential in order to progress towards your goals. If it has been longer than that since you last updated your program be sure to book in with one of our fitness instructors.
- Understand your own stress levels.
- All energy bars and fruit smoothies are NOT low in calories.
- Don't underestimate the benefits of weight training! An intense weight training workout can boost your metabolism for several hours or more. So, even while sitting at your desk or watching TV you can be burning calories.
- You haven’t got the energy to exercise? – Well guess what? Exercising actually gives you energy!
